• Recognizing the 30th Anniversary of the Bascom Hill Pink Flamingo prank and proclaiming the plastic pink flamingo the official “bird” of Madison, Wisconsin, in honor of the anniversary.  (PDF Adopted 9/1/09)

• FOURTH SUBSTITUTE - Creating Sec. 34.42, amending Sec. 27.05(2)(w) and creating Secs. 32.06(2)(a)1.j. and 32.06(4) of the Madison General Ordinances to govern installation and maintenance of smoke alarms in residential buildings.  (PDF Adopted  3/3/09)

• THIRD SUBSTITUTE - Creating Section 12.792 entitled "Neighborhood Electric Vehicles Allowed" to permit and regulate the operation of such vehicles on Madison streets and amending Section 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to establish a bail deposit amount for violations of the section.
