Image: MAC Logo MGO 33.27 (2) Multicultural Affairs Committee. There is hereby established a Multicultural Affairs Committee (MAC) composed of employees of the City of Madison and charged with addressing issues of concern to racial and ethnic people of color employed by the City. Members of the MAC shall be appointed by the Mayor upon recommendation of the Director of the Department of Civil Rights, and are not subject to Common Council approval. The MAC may adopt such other rules or bylaws to govern its operation, including establishing the number of members of the Committee, not inconsistent with these ordinances.

WHO CAN JOIN?

All permanent employees who have passed their probationary period. Any City employee may seek membership after attending two consecutive meetings.
