He is a member of Downtown Madison, Inc. where he has been instrumental in initiating a series of discussions aimed at articulating the UW’s arts activities with those of the broader downtown area. Fabu is Madison’s poet laureate and has been a major figure in Madison’s literary arts movement for many years. She has been a leader in utilizing the arts to further cross-cultural exchange and has a strong commitment to arts education. |

Veronica is Dean of Arts and Sciences at MATC. She not only leads those efforts, but is also expert in adult education and distance learning. She is a musician, gardener, knitter, singer, and writer. |
Cathy Dethmers |
Cathy Dethmers is the owner and operator of the High Noon Saloon, one of Madison’s most visible and eclectic entertainment clubs. In her role at High Noon, Cathy serves as booking agent for musical acts and art bazaars. |

Steve is the Executive Director of Foundation/Community Relations at CUNA Mutual. He has been a leader in education, credit counseling, and philanthropy. He currently chairs the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce Capital Funds Campaign Committee and is a member of Rotary. |

Oscar a widely published and recognized poet and the executive director/principal of Omega School, an alternative school. He is a member of Minds Eye Radio collective, which produces a radio show of spoken word poetry. |

Nick has been a preeminent DJ for over 20 years, performing and promoting events internationally. He has been commissioned to produce remixes and tracks, including one which appears on Amnesty International’s 40th anniversary CD. He is the former owner of Nice Music, the founder of Baby Boogie events, and a popular podcaster. |

Georgene is a painter, the incoming chair of the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission, and is a special assistant to UW Chancellor Biddy Martin. She was formerly print production manager at the Guild. |

Marsha is an alderperson representing Madison’s 6th District. She is co-founder and manager of the Rainbow Bookstore and a member of the Madison Arts Commission. Marsha is the former president of the Marquette Neighborhood Association. |
Bob Sorge |
Bob is Vice President for Strategic Development at the Madison Community Foundation. He is a member of the board of the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is the former executive director of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and has been involved with music organizations for years. Bob is currently chairing a strategic planning effort for the Parkwood Hills Neighborhood Association. |

David is a visual artist who has also worked as a gallerist, curator, arts administrator, and exhibit designer. Currently, he is the executive director of Edenfred, an interdisciplinary artists’ residency program and a part of Madison’s Terry Family Foundation. |
