Profile, Statistics and Indicators
Neighborhood Description: The Norman Acres Neighborhood is a residential subdivision of approximately 50 detached, single family ranch homes, 6 side-by-side duplexes, and several other multifamily apartments. We have easy access to East Washington Avenue (Highway 151) and to Portage Road. Dane County International Airport, East Towne Mall, and Madison Area Technical College are a stone throw away. Reindahl Park, a large community park, is located directly east of our residential area. Community gardens, cricket field, tennis courts, and a host of other park features serve our recreational needs. Norman Acres is a suburban neighborhood with a truly country feel.
Neighborhood Boundaries: Duke Street, Sunnyside Crescent and Dwight Drive on the north, Independence Lane on the east, East Washington Avenue on the south, Portage Road on the west
Neighborhood Statistics Indicators: The Neighborhood Indicators Project is a demonstration of key characteristics and various indicators that relate to the quality of life in Madison at the neighborhood level. Basic neighborhood information as well as housing, public safety, health and family well-being, economic, and transportation indicators by neighborhood is available.
