Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission: Tenth Anniversary Art Calendar Retrospective The Playhouse Lobby, Lower Level Opening Reception: Monday, November 10, 5-7 PM In the year 2000, at the initiation of former director Lynne Eich, the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission created its first desktop art calendar as a one-time project to commemorate the millennium. Due to its enormous popularity, the calendar has become one of the Commission’s annual traditions, showcasing beautiful artwork created by local Dane County and Wisconsin artists. Every year, thousands of calendars are treasured by Dane County citizens, families, and friends near and far. Art featured in the calendars inspires us each day and helps remind us why we love Dane County all year long.
