We do our jobs better when you tell us what is important to you. That is why the Common Council is so excited about the Community Budget Conversations.
Every year, you contribute to the vitality and quality of life in our city with your tax dollar. Every year, your alder makes a decision about how to allocate those dollars to the hundreds of services that serve you, your neighborhood and our city.
We would like your help in making these important budgetary decisions by joining us at one of the five Community Budget Conversations and/or completing the online survey. Your input will help align values and services, and guide how dollars are distributed in the 2013 budget. As we continue facing challenging fiscal times, citizen engagement is more critical than ever. Together, we can make the best decisions for our dollars.
