Keeping Safe After 55: Confronting Pressure

MSC has teamed up with the Rape Crisis Center to offer a series of workshops for women about protecting oneself in a variety of situations. Topics to be addressed include Confronting Pressure (awkward situations), sexual assault, stalking and other situations participants bring up in discussions. The importance of confidentiality will be stressed. Pre-registration and attendance for the entire series is encouraged. FREE!

This workshop brings creativity and awareness to the idea of self-defense in later life. Learn strategies that work for YOU. Participants will leave with a more in-depth understanding of how violence unfolds, as well as physical and verbal tools to enhance safety.
