3. REQUEST FOR MAJOR CHANGES IN CURRENTLY FUNDED PROJECTS OR FUNDING FOR NEW PROJECTS
A sister organization
of Movin' Out (WISH) requests the transfer of HOME financing from the owner
of a property assisted in 1997 by Movin' Out to itself to continue the
affordability and maintenance of the property as a dwelling unit. This
would, in effect, provide acquisition assistance to a new non-profit
organization.
The Madison Area CLT is forming two Limited Liability Corporations (LLCs) to serve as owners of the two portions of the Troy Gardens development: (1) the garden area, and (2) the housing area. The CLT requests permission to transfer the City mortgages from the CLT itself to the two new entities.

REVIEW OF THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGSThe Commission will review meeting minutes from its previous meeting.
5. CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES
The CDBG Office has received no inquiries regarding potential conflicts of interest during the past month.
6. OTHER BUSINESS FOR ACTION
Issues and/or referrals to or from the Common Council
Staff and alders will update the Commission on Council actions and the Commission will review the following:Accepting the Vision Document for the Allied Community, as presented by the Mayor.
Reports from Committees with CDBG Commission Representation
Housing Committee (King).
Community Gardens Committee (Silverman).
Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award Committee (Estante).
Subcommittee on Inclusionary Zoning and Community Development Investment Issues.
Other Commission representation.
