"Futures" Reserve Fund: Guidelines
Activities must help a non-profit community agency develop a prototype or conduct a feasibility study or address a short-lived revitalization opportunity or develop a new method or approach, while also addressing one of the objectives articulated in the Program Framework.
Funds can be applied toward the capitalized costs of a feasibility study, or the project costs of an experimental or project pilot implementation phase.
Funds will be limited to $15,000 per activity and are provided in the form of a one-time grant.
Funds are available anytime throughout the year, contingent upon availability of funds. Twenty (20) copies of the application are due to the CD Office by 4:30pm on the 15th of the month and will be reviewed by the CDBG Commission on the first Thursday of the following month. The City Council shall determine final approval for all recommended activities over $15,000; the Mayor shall determine final approval for all recommended activities $15,000 or less.
Applications should be submitted four (4) months prior to the planned activity.
