Four major documents, describing various aspects of the City of Madison's Community and Neighborhood Development program, are available from the CDBG Office:
The Five-Year Consolidated Community and Neighborhood Development Plan describes expected trends and community opportunities during the years 2000 through 2004, and the City's major goals, priorities and strategies to address these issues.
The
Program
Framework is a two-year planning document which
describes the current priorities (derived from the
Five-Year Plan) in more detail. If you are interested in
applying for funds, this is the first document to read.
The Action Plan describes the funded projects for the current year, as well as a narrative of the policies and activities sponsored by the City to meet HUD's broader goals of community development.
The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) lists each activity funded during the calendar year, its budget and accomplishments.
