Mission
The mission of the Commission on People with Disabilities is the following: Studies and makes recommendations to the Common Council, City Plan Commission, Development Assistance Unit of the Dept. of Planning & Development, Board of Public Works, Park Commissioners and other pertinent city departments, committees and commissions on all proposals to allow citizens with disabilities a better opportunity to enjoy and take advantage of the programs, services and facilities of the City of Madison. Reviews and recommends the city's 504, ADA & 3.72 Plans. Acts as a channel through which Madison's disabled or their families can have input into city operations & policy decisions.The Commission meets every 4th Thursday of the month. 5:00pm at 215 Martin Luther King, Jr Blvd, Room 260
