In-Person Absentee Voting at UW-Madison

Sunday, March 26, 2017 - 5:59pm

Students at UW-Madison will be able to vote absentee on campus this week in the election for Alderperson, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and School Board, among other elected positions.

For UW students, absentee voting will take place at:

Union South
1308 W. Dayton Street
Info Lounge on 2nd floor
Monday, March 27 – Friday, March 31
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Student Activity Center (SAC)
333 E Campus Mall
3rd floor Sunroom
Monday, March 27 – Friday, March 31
10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Absentee voting procedures for the Spring Election are like those that took place in the general election in November, and more recently in the February Primary. Voters must show an acceptable form of voter ID before receiving an absentee ballot. Anyone who registered in the fall or so far this spring will not need to register again, unless they have changed addresses since registering to vote. This means if a student has moved to a different residence hall since registering to vote, they must register at their new address.

Absentee ballots are counted at the polls on Election Day, which is Tuesday, April 4.
