Alderperson Mike Verveer was first elected to the Madison Common Council on April 4, 1995. He has won re-election to the Common Council in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005. He served as Common Council President Pro Tem for the 2001-2002 term and as Common Council President for the 2003-2004 and 2007-2008 terms.
