BIOGRAPHY
Interim Alderperson Elizabeth "Libby" Monson was appointed to replace Zach Brandon by the Madison Common Council on September 16, 2008 to serve until a new alderperson is elected in April 2009.
Libby has resided in Madison for 36 years and has three adult children and seven grandchildren and all living in District 7!
She served on the Common Council from 1981-1983 and served on eleven committees and subcommittees, including the Human Services Commission, during her tenure.
Libby is a sales associate with the Stark Company. She volunteers her time as a driver for Middleton Outreach Ministry and serves as chair of Solutions, a non-profit, mobile food bank operation.
