Drop-off Sites Expanded Hours Start Saturday, March 30, 2019

March 25, 2019 10:17 AM

On Saturday, March 30, 2019, all three of the Streets Division's drop-off sites will begin expanded summer hours.

Beginning on March 30, they will be open seven days a week (except holidays).  The sites will be open 8:30am to 4:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.  The sites will be open 8:30am to 8:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Expanded hours will end for the year on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

The sites are located at 1501 W. Badger Road, 4602 Sycamore Avenue, and 402 South Point Road.

The Badger Road and Sycamore Avenue locations accept a variety of material for recycling and disposal.  Yard waste, brush, Styrofoam, household batteries, televisions and other electronics, and even more can be can be dropped off. Please visit the drop-off site web page for a list of all items accepted at the sites.

The drop-off site at 402 South Point Road only accepts yard waste.

All three sites are available only for City of Madison residents or taxpayers.  Individuals using the sites will be asked to prove their residency or taxpayer status, so be prepared to show a driver's license or another official form – such as a utility bill or a tax bill.

Until the hours expand on Saturday, March 30, the drop-off sites will be open for winter hours, meaning only the Badger Road and Sycamore Avenue locations are available, and they are open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm.

For more information about our drop-off sites, visit our website or call 608-266-4681 for information about the South Point Road and Badger Road drop-off sites or call 608-246-4532 for information about the Sycamore Avenue drop-off site.
