Road Closure- Westbound University Avenue

May 31, 2017 5:30 PM

At 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5th, Parisi Construction will begin work on University Avenue to install a new signalized intersection at the Hill Farms development, approximately 450 feet west of North Segoe Road.  This project is managed by the State of Wisconsin and is expected to be completed in early September.

During the first phase of construction, the westbound Old Middleton Road off-ramp from University Avenue will be closed.  This closure is expected to last until mid July.  A detour plan for this closure can be found here: http://www.cityofmadison.com/sites/default/files/city-of-madison/engineering/documents/WB%20Old%20Middleton%20Ramp%20Detour.pdf

Metro Transit will have detours due to the off-ramp closure:

University Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Traffic lanes will not be closed during peak traffic hours.
