BIOGRAPHY
Julia Kerr was elected to the Madison Common Council in April 2007. Before running for alder, Julia was president of her neighborhood association and a member of the City of Madison Housing Committee.
District 13 includes portions of Park, Regent, and Monroe streets as well as the neighborhood of Bram’s Addition, Greenbush, Bay Creek, Monona Bay, Capital View Heights, and Vilas.
Julia is an urban planner by training and worked for many years developing affordable housing in Chicago.
