Aldermanic districts are changing on January 1, 2012, based on results of the 2010 census.

District 19 is getting a bit larger and moving to the south and west. Here are the specific changes:

• Adds the Wexford Village area bounded by Old Sauk, Gammon, the Beltline and the Middleton border (currently in District 9, Ald. Skidmore)
• Adds the area south of the Beltline bounded by Schroeder, Gammon and Whitney Way (Currently in District 1, Ald. Subeck)
• Removes the area bounded by Old Middleton, Whitney Way, Mineral Point and Island Drive to District 11 (Ald. Schmidt). Glen Oak Hills, Crestwood and Hill Farms neighborhoods move to District 11 (Ald. Schmidt), along with the part of Faircrest east of Island Drive.
