The week of July 31 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Landmarks Commission, a Neighborhood Informational Meeting about N. Blair Street Reconstruction, the Common Council Executive Committee, the Common Council – Discussion - 2016 City of Madison Biennial Housing Report, the Common Council, the Street Use Staff Commission, Neighborhood Meeting re: Request to Expand seating at 1 Sherman Terrace, Madison Area Transportation Planning Board, Parks Long Range Plan Subcommittee, the Public Market Development Committee, and the Plan Commission.  The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Also, committees and commissions have an opportunity at the beginning of each agenda for Public Comment on items not on the agenda.  If you have something you want to share with a committee or commission, you can use the Public Comment time to do so.

The City of Madison is proposing to resurface N. Blair Street from Gorham Street to East Washington Ave. in 2018.  Also proposed is the replacement of the water main & laterals, sanitary sewer main & laterals, and storm sewer upgrades.  The meeting will include representatives from the City and Alder Zellers. Residents will have an opportunity to view the proposal and provide comments.
