The week of July 7 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Board of Estimates, Concert in the Breese, Emerson East-Eken Park-Yahara Neighborhood Plan Steering Committee, and the Transit and Parking Commission:  Review Taxi Regulations & Shared-Ride Services Subcommittee.  The agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particularly interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Also, committees and commissions have an opportunity at the beginning of each agenda for Public Comment on items not on the agenda.  If you have something you want to share with a committee or commission, you can use the Public Comment time to do so.

The Madison Parks Foundation is holding a free community concert at Breese Stevens Field located at 917 East Mifflin Street as their kick-off event in celebration of the 120 year anniversary of the Madison Parks and Pleasure Drive Association. The Jimmys, The Madpolecats, and Sortin' the Mail will be playing at the showcase.
