The week of June 27 has items of possible interest to residents of district 2 at the Board of Estimates, the Parks Long Range Planning Subcommittee, the Pedestrian/Bicycle/Motor Vehicle Commission and the Urban Design Commission. The city meeting agenda items are open for testimony from the public should you be interested in weighing in.  I also appreciate hearing from you on any items on which you have a particular interest or concern so please send me an email or give me a call.

Also, committees and commissions have an opportunity at the beginning of each agenda for Public Comment on items not on the agenda.  If you have something you want to share with a committee or commission, you can use the Public Comment time to do so.

CLOSED SESSION NOTICE

When the Board of Estimates considers the following item, it may go into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), Wisconsin Statutes, which reads as follows: Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. If the Board of Estimates does convene in closed session as described above, upon completion of the closed session, notice is hereby given that it may reconvene in open session to consider the following item without waiting 12 hours, pursuant to Wis. Stats. Sec. 19.85(2).

Accepting the Recommendation of the Board of Estimates and the June 24, 2016 Amended Report of the Judge Doyle Square Negotiating Team; Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to Execute the Development Agreement with Beitler Real Estate Services LLC for the Judge Doyle Square Project and Directing Follow-up Actions by the City as Described and Agreed to in the Development Agreement. This item was introduced directly to the Board of Estimates and not referred by the Common Council.
