B-cycle is back on April 1st

B-cycle is a community bike-share program that allows residents, students, and tourists to rent bikes throughout downtown Madison. Piloted last year, the program is designed for short, 30-minute commutes between area businesses and exploring the city. The program will be expanding this summer to include eight new stations (bringing the total number 35) and adding 70 new bikes. 

As part of an ongoing partnership between Madison B-cycle and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, $20 Annual Memberships are now available to all UW Students, Faculty and Staff. This special pricing is sponsored by UW Transportation Services. Compete rates can be found here.

B-cycle also has mobile application for the Android and iPhone that provide real-time bike availability and nearby station locations. 

B-cycles will be back in operation on April 1st. I would personally encourage those students staying in Madison this summer to sign up for a membership!
