Neighborhood Grants

2018 Neighborhood Grant Program

The Department of Planning and Community & Economic Development, Planning Division, has a grant program designed to help neighborhoods build capacity and beautify public places. The grant program helps to improve the quality of life within neighborhoods, and the City as a whole.

Grant Program Steps

  • Review the Grant Program Guidelines by clicking here.
  • Meet with your neighborhood to plan a project.
  • If interested, feel free to attend the Optional Grant Workshop on December 6, 6:00 p.m. at the City-County Building, 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Room 103A. View the workshop slideshow from 2017.
  • Contact Linda Horvath, Planning Division, for a pre-application discussion. Call Linda: 608-267-1131 or email: lhorvath@cityofmadison.com.
  • Complete and submit your application so it arrives at the Planning Division by February 19, 2018, 4:30 p.m.
