Description

This training will discuss key foundational concepts such as: the general benefits of engaging others, the critical role of values (the public's values and core participation values), the relationship of public participation to decision makers and decision-making processes, and the goals that drive any public participation program. This replaces the monthly (October) CORE Team meeting.

This is a great opportunity to learn key principles of public engagement from a respected and sought-after trainer. Mary Hamel has been a certified trainer and course developer for the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) since 2000, and has done trainings all over the world.
