Association of Records Managers & Administrators' mission is to promote and advance the professional competence of its members to enable them to provide records and information management leadership and expertise within their organizations and communities. ARMA - Madison Chapter has monthly learning and networking meetings and membership offers access to ARMA International's many resources and training opportunities.

The Public Records Board has oversight and accountability for the State's Records Program. The Board conducts its work through collaboration with Wisconsin governmental entities to assist in their compliance with records retention and preservation requirements.
