Project Overview
This project includes work on N. & S. Fairchild St., W. Doty St., S. Carroll St & W. Washington Ave. The project includes pavement replacement, curb & gutter replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, street and pedestrian lighting, tree installation, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and a new traffic signal at S. Fairchild St. and W. Main St.
Traffic Summary
- The W. Washington Ave. and N. Fairchild St. intersection will be closed starting on March 15th due to the installation of deep underground utilities. A detour will be in place for traffic (W. Mifflin St. to N. Henry St. to W. Washington Ave.)
- S. Fairchild St. from W. Washington Ave. to W. Doty St. will be closed from the end of April to the end of June. Parking will be removed at that time.
- W. Washington Ave. from N. Henry St. to N. Carroll St. will be one way east bound (toward square) from Mar 12 to end of April. Parking will be removed.
- W. Doty St. from S. Fairchild St. to MLK Jr. Blvd. will be one lane, one way northeast bound. Parking will be removed.
- S. Carroll St. from W. Doty St. to W. Wilson St. will be closed for 30 days starting March 26 with local access only. Parking will be removed.
****An Intermediate stage on S. Fairchild between W. Washington & W. Main will begin on April 4. Please see attached map for details:
