Mineral Point Road-Junction Road Intersection Reconfiguration
The City of Madison, in cooperation with Dane County and the Wisconsin State Department of Transportation is proud to announce the partial opening of the Mineral Point Road and Junction Road intersection. Please note the new traffic patterns associated with the construction.
Southbound drivers on Junction Road will proceed over Mineral Point Road on the newly constructed bridge. Southbound Junction Road drivers who desire to access Mineral Point Road should use the right-hand lane and exit via the new Jug Handle to turn left and right on Mineral Point Road. Northbound Junction Road/CTH M drivers will stay at grade and make turning movements the same as before. East and Westbound Mineral Point drivers will utilize the new jug handle to turn south on Junction Road/CTH M. All other East and Westbound movements are the same as before. A graphic is included which will show the correct turning maneuvers for each direction. http://www.cityofmadison.com/engineering/CTHM/documents/intersectionturningmvmnts.pdf
