Weed Spraying along R&R tracks week of May 22

Wisconsin & Southern Railroad will be performing weed control and spraying activities in the City of Madison during the week of May 22, 2017. This is part of the railroad's system-wide maintenance program, conducted by a certified contractor. All spraying will occur within the railroad right-of-way. If weather does not permit, application will begin the week of May 29th.

About Weed Control spraying on railroad property
The Wisconsin & Southern Railroad conducts weed and brush control spraying along the tracks two times a year, generally in spring and fall. The application is performed by the railroad company to control weeds, promote effective drainage, improve safety for railroad workers and protect and extend the life of the railroad.
