ROAD SALT
The Madison Area Municipal Stormwater Partnership has sponsored Road Salt Workshops annually for several years. This year the workshop was in the form of a lunch for Public Works staff that included a presentation by Chris Walsh from the City of Beloit. She has successfully reduced the amount of road salt her municipality applies each winter, which has both financial and environmental benefits.
