Community Development Authority (CDA) East Site office was awarded Property Management Team of the Year (Public Sector) by the Apartment Association of South Central Wisconsin at the 2006 Awards of Excellence.

Nominated by both residents and industry peers as the best apartments and best property management staffs in the area, the winners of the Apartment Association's second annual Awards of Excellence were announced on December 12th.

Apartment homes honored were selected for outstanding maintenance and property management, architecture, landscaping & amenities; while professional property managers, owners and maintenance technicians were recognized for their outstanding customer service and top notch property management practices.

"The East site Management Office of the City of Madison Community Development Authority (CDA) is headed by June Garvin. She has worked at this site for the past 20 years and is the Site Manager, responsible for leasing and management services to the 239 families. Larry Hamlin is the Resident Services staff. He’s worked successfully with residents in crisis situations to keep them from becoming homeless."

"Janet Corcoran manages the office & keeps things running smoothly. The other team member is not a person but the East Madison Community Center (EMCC). EMCC has won national recognition for their programming efforts & are about to break ground on a million dollar building expansion."
