SECTION 8 ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to a lack of Federal funding, The City of Madison

Community Development Authority (CDA) regrets to

announce that its wait list for the Section 8 Housing

Choice Voucher Program is currently closed.

We do not anticipate any new vouchers to be released

from HUD. Therefore, we are not accepting any new

applications. As participants leave our program, we will

draw from our current Section 8 waiting list.

CDA is unsure of when the wait list will reopen. We will

conduct public advertising and outreach upon a decision

to reopen the waiting list for new applicants.
