THE LAST DAY OF THE 2003 CLEAN SWEEP SEASON IS OCTOBER 25TH
The Clean Sweep Program for recycling household hazardous waste and Product Exchange Program will end their 2003 seasons on Saturday, October 25, the last Saturday in October. The Clean Sweep Program provides an opportunity for residents of Dane County to safely dispose of hazardous materials free of charge. The Product Exchange is a free program for residents to take high quality and usable products brought into Clean Sweep.
Business owners are reminded that the last day for the Small Business Collection Program is Wednesday, October 22, 2003. Please allow enough time before the last collection to request registration materials and to submit an inventory of the materials for recycling. A registration packet is available on the Dane county Web site at http://www.co.dane.wi.us/ems/cleansweep/cleansweep.htm or by calling Dave Radisewitz, the Clean Sweep Coordinator, at 294-5358.
Normal hours of operation are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The site is located at 2302 Fish Hatchery Road in Madison, on the corner of Fish Hatchery and Badger Roads. The site will open again on Saturday, May 1, 2004.
