Possible West Nile Virus Infection Found in Madison Bird (07/31/02) The Madison Department of Public Health (MDPH) was informed that a dead crow, found on Madison's east side, is presumed to be positive for the West Nile Virus. At this time, Madison Department of Public Health is waiting for this result to be confirmed before releasing further information.
