Satellite Clean Sweep Hazardous Waste Collection to be held in Mt. Horeb on Thursday, August 16, 2001 at the Village Garage

The Dane County/City of Madison Clean Sweep Program will hold a satellite agricultural and household hazardous waste collection in Mount Horeb at the Village Garage at 301 Blue Mounds Street on August 16, 2001 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The Clean Sweep Program provides an opportunity for homeowners of Dane County to safely dispose of hazardous materials, free of charge.

Clean Sweep will accept agriculturally generated wastes at this event. There will be no cost to farmers, and agricultural businesses will only pay half of the normal business cost. All farmers and agricultural-related businesses from Dane County are invited to participate. The agricultural Clean Sweep is by pre-registration. The hours for the Main Collection site at 2302 Fish Hatchery Road Madison on Wednesday, August 15th will be from 7:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and on Friday, August 17th the hours will be 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. to allow the Staff to prepare for the Mount  Horeb Collection Event.
