Investigative interview skills are essential tools to the employee misconduct investigation process. This workshop is intended to provide managers and supervisors with the knowledge base needed to conduct investigations with a focus on the investigative interview.
Overall employee misconduct investigative procedures will be introduced, including effective interview skills and techniques. Participants will learn what types of questions to ask and how to ask them. Ideas will be offered about the best approach to use with victims, alleged perpetrators and witnesses as well as giving guidance to determine when an investigation is complete and how to assess contradictory information.
