Early Thursday morning officers were sent to the 100 block of State Street where a fight was reportedly in progress. They arrived to find an injured man, who said he had been punched several times in the face. The victim said he and the suspect were arguing over who would sleep in a doorway of a particular business, and that the disagreement ended with the battery. An acquaintance of both men said the sleeping spot in dispute is one of the most desirable because of "the light and heat." |
