Early Thursday morning, around 12:45, a 50-year old Madison man called 911 after hearing glass breaking in his home. Moments earlier someone had been ringing the doorbell, and the victim saw there was someone outside with a flashlight. Minutes later he heard the voice of a police officer yelling for someone to stop. Officers, in fact, chased the 17-year old suspect through several backyards at one point he crashed through a fence. His attempt at getting away was unsuccessful. He was carrying a cloth-type bag containing a bandana, sunglasses, and gloves. A basement window to the home was broken out. |
