On Wednesday afternoon, at 5:22 p.m., Madison Police were sent to Reindahl Park, 1818 Portage Road, after a 55-year old man was threatened with a knife. The victim said he was hanging out at the shelter with two women friends when the suspect began asking for beer and cigarettes. The suspect later used vulgar language regarding the women, and the victim told him to stop. The suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim. "I'm going to cut you up like a wild hillbilly," is what the victim reported him saying. The victim walked quickly away from the suspect, and police were called. |
