Early Friday morning, at 12:40 a.m., Madison Police arrested a State Street panhandler after he pulled a knife on a man following a business dispute. A 47-year old acquaintance of both men said the suspect wanted to "shake the pan" in a spot where the 44-year old man – listed above - was already working. The 47-year old told the suspect to stop messing with the 44-year old. The suspect reportedly pulled a knife and said, "What are you gonna do?" Police arrived and arrested the suspect. He was carrying a number of items, including: a knife, a woman's identification card, a window punch tool (can be used to break car windows), and a drug pipe. |
