Early Saturday morning, at 3:17 a.m., a citizen came up to a squad car and told a Madison Police Officer that a man was being beaten near the intersection of State Street and Gilman Street. The officer spotted four men leaving the area the victim approached and said they had just attacked him. The suspects tried to flee, but officers were able to arrest three. The victim said he had confronted the group after an iPod was stolen from a nearby house party. The suspects were the only ones at the party who were strangers to the other attendees. The iPod was not recovered. |
