| Details |
Early Monday morning, at 12:06 a.m., a 20-year old Madison man reported that he had just been mugged while walking on a sidewalk near the intersection of Hoard and Oak Streets. He says he was talking on his cell phone, when a man on a bicycle approached. The man dropped the bike and tackled the victim. He put a hand around the victim's throat, and punched the victim. During the attack the robber reached into the victim's pockets and stole his money. He also smashed the victim's cell phone on the ground. The thief left the bike at the scene, and fled in a green car - possibly a Ford Taurus. The victim said it appeared the person driving the Taurus was working in tandem with his assailant. |
