On Monday evening, around 9:45 p.m., Madison Police responded to the area of Peace Park in the 400 block of State Street after a 45-year old man was reportedly choked into unconsciousness. The victim said he and an acquaintance were arguing over a woman, when the acquaintance came up behind him, put an arm around his neck, and choked him. A witness said the victim fell to the ground. Responding officers spotted the suspect riding away on a bicycle. He was arrested. |
