| Details |
Early Friday morning, around 4:05 a.m., a concerned citizen contacted Madison Police after spotting a thief taking cinderblocks from a retaining wall on his property. Officers responded to the 900 block of Harrington Drive and found the blocks had been used to prop-up a GMC pickup truck that was parked across the street from the caller. The truck's four tires were gone. A police investigator responding to the area spotted a Ford pickup truck, with tires protruding from the truck bed, on Sprecher Road. The investigator pulled the truck over, and the suspects were arrested. The owner of the second truck, a 47-year old Monona woman, knew a couple of the suspects, but had not given anyone permission to drive the vehicle. |
