On Monday evening, at 6:25 p.m., Madison Police were notified that a citizen was following a driver who had just hit a car in the 2500 block of East Johnson Street, but did not stop. A responding officer was able to get behind the suspect's Geo/Chevrolet Prizm on Milwaukee Street, and pull it over. It had fresh front-end damage. Beer, vodka, drug paraphernalia, and prescription drugs were found inside the car. The driver was arrested for his sixth offense of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence (OMVWI). |
