MISSION:  To serve donors by providing a flexible
          and responsible vehicle for their chari-
          table interests; to serve Dane Co. by
          funding creative, visionary, and sensi-
          tive projects that address the needs of
          our diverse community; to support pro-
          grams that enrich community life in 6
          areas: culture/arts, health/human serv-
          ices, elderly, youth, civic/environment
          and education; to demonstrate community
          leadership; to act as a responsible
          solicitor and prudent manager of philan-
          thropic assests created by charitable
          gifts and bequests; to encourage broad
          participation and leadership from dis-
          tinquished civic, corporate, and philan-
          thropic leaders of our community.
