Public Health News You Can Use

August 4, 2016 10:13 AM

The Public Health department of Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) has just released the first issue of their brand new news letter, News You Can Use! This newsletter's purpose is to provide our area residents with a variety of information "related to public health services, health and safety, and new initiatives in Dane County."

Topics included in their first issue are: What do you do if you find a bat in your house? Add immunizations to the back to school preparation list and Making sure food is safe at community fairs and festivals." Each topic goes into detail about what you can do, what services are provided for you, or where to find additional information. Did you know that bat bites can be hard to detect?

To subscribe to the newsletter send an email to communications@publichealthmdc.com expressing your interest and they will add you to the list. To learn more about PHMDC follow the link below: http://www.publichealthmdc.com/
