Movie Night at Owl Creek

Book Giveaway at Owl Creek Movie Night

There are Movie Nights at parks all over the City this summer, thanks to Madison Parks, our Neighborhood Resource Teams and various sponsors ranging from businesses, to non-profits and other City agencies.  This past week Madison Public Library teamed up with Parks to provide not only the showing of the movie Zootopia, but also a book give away and free popcorn.

Aside from a number of uninvited mosquitos, the over 60 people who joined in the fun, had a great evening.  The event provided time for neighbors to spend time together, for area children to play and of course to enjoy a family-friendly movie.

Thanks also go to Pinney Library staff - Holly, Jaime, Steve, and Lexi - for organizing a book giveaway and serving popcorn. The library's involvement provides a great opportunity for kids to connect with additional summer reading.
