First Annual Spring Break Gaming and Coding Day

March 2, 2018 9:45 AM

I am excited about the City of Madison My Brother's Keeper initiative 1st Annual Spring Break Gaming and Coding Day for middle and high school youth of color on March 27, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Madison Central Library.

My Brother's Keeper is an initiative of former President Barack Obama adopted by the City and designed to create and enhance opportunities for boys and young men of color.

Our partners the Urban League of Greater Madison and the 100 Black Men of Madison, Inc., collaborated with us to create an opportunity for youth of color to learn about computer coding, video gaming and careers in these fields.
