Central Park Skatepark

April 21, 2015 5:03 PM

I am pleased to announce that the City of Madison has been awarded a $295,308 grant to be used towards the construction of the Central Park Skatepark! The grant, funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund, will not only be used to construct Madison's first skatepark at Central Park, but also support facilities for the skatepark which include, lighting, walkways, an underdrainage system, landscaping, a drinking fountain, seating areas, and fencing.

The Central Park Skatepark will serve as yet another Madison destination where children and adults alike can come together, be active, and have fun! In addition to the grant award, we are thankful to all the organizations and individuals who have made donations to make the Central Park Skatepark a reality!
