Stop the Violence

May 10, 2016 3:27 PM

You may have seen a recent Public Service Announcement that was created in partnership with the Black Leadership Council of Greater Madison and the City of Madison called Stop the Violence.  The announcement brings together community members to discuss the consequences that come from engaging in violence, whether it be through any of the forms of domestic, verbal,  violence in schools or elsewhere in the community.  Bishop Harold Rayford developed the idea in response to the recent increase in gun violence in Madison neighborhoods.  The Public Service Announcement is targeted towards the parents and grandparents of youth involved in violent activities.  If you have not already, be sure to watch the video and share widely as we work together to reduce instances of violence in our Madison community.
